Default DisplayLink device recognised in Ubuntu but no Display visible.

Hi all I have installed the Ubuntu software correctly, and I can see the USB drivers active however when I connect my Acer display it is not picked up, and I do not see it within the display section of settings.

I have attached my support tool output.

many thanks

Chris

Hi folks - any ideas?

The USB hub is recognised but just cannot get it to configure an extra display.

When I plug HDMI display in, it shows no displays in settings.

How about this:
`sudo systemctl restart displaylink-driver.service`

You might have to do this multiple times to work
