Dell U4919DW and 5K

I'm trying to use the USB-C Dual Docking Station with a single Dell 49" ultra-wide monitor using display port but only able to achieve 3840x1080 resolution.

Dell XPS Laptop [USB-C] > Docking Station. Docking Station [Display Port] > Monitor.

I can connect directly to the monitor with the USB-C cable [bypassing the Docking Station] and get 5120x1440 just not through the docking station. Updated the monitor driver and drivers for the dock. Not quite sure why this is not working as manual states it will support 5k with a single monitor. Suggestions?

Would you be able to provide us more information such us what is the docking station and monitor exactly - the model etc.

Also it would be useful to us to take a look at what is happening in the background - for that I would like you to gather logfiles for us.
