It looks like your hard drive is full, and this is probably stopping the Windows paging file from being efficient, slowing down our driver and software graphics compression.

Can you see if freeing up some hard drive space helps?

Hi,

Does this happen on both USB ports?

From the logs it looks as if you are running with the Spectre display disabled, is this correct? If so do you see the same issue if the Spectre display is enabled?

Is your mouse wireless or wired?

Thanks,
James

Hi,

In the BIOS can you try disabling Intel Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework?

Thanks,
James

Hi,

Thanks for checking.

Can you look in Control Panel | Uninstall Programs and see if there is entry called Intel Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework? If so please uninstall this and see if that helps.

If that is not present / removing it doesn't help, please try these steps:

1. Open Control Panel
2. Open Power Options
3. Select Change plan settings
4. Select advanced power settings
5. Choose High Performance from the drop down box

Let me know you you get on.

Thanks,
James

Hi James,

We're experiencing the same problem with the Targus USB 3 docks on Dell Latitude E6320 running Windows 8.1 Update 1. Displaylink 7.6 had some minor mouse lag issues and it is definitely worse using Displaylink 7.6 M1.

The E6320 has an Intel HD 3000 GPU. We've had no issues with this model running Windows 8 on the Dell branded Targus USB 3 docks.

I'll post the displaylink debug logs if that helps.

Cheers

Hi again,

I can confirm that modifying the power settings for the Intel GPU helps, it is odd that 7.6 appeared to have better mouse performance than 7.6 M1.

Also please find attached the debug logs.

Cheers,
