Mirroring Screens on MacOS Ventura 13.2.1

Hi, Help please i would greatly appreciate it.

My Question:

• Try as I might I cannot get my mac to recognise that they are two screens. Only one U2419H monitor shows up when setting up display configurations. Thus, my question. How can I get it to recognise so that I can use both screens rather than just having them mirror each other?

The problem:

• I have two DELL U2419H monitors each connected via 2xDP (displayports) into the back of my Lenovo ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Workstation Dock Gen 2 via a single USBC into my 2017 Macbook pro running the latest software update (Ventura 13.2.1).
• I have also downloaded the latest DisplayLink Manager (1.8 release) but to no luck.
• Also tried the DELL Display and Peripheral manager, No luck either.

Additional information:

• On my work laptop (a Lenovo Thinkpad) everything works perfectly well. No hassle, just plug and play with no need to download anything extra or fuss. So the equipment and set up on this works fine.
• In System Settings > Displays: only one DELL U2419H screen shows up. However, in the 'Colour Profile' both U2419H are selectable from the drop down menu. As i flick through
  them nothing happens or changes.

According to the information Lenovo provides for your docking station --> https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/pd500333 your dock does NOT have DisplayLink technology inside of it. As a result, DisplayLink will not be able to assist you.

The Lenovo dock you as using has a DisplayPort MST hub inside of it that drives the two displays. Mac systems do NOT support DisplayPort MST, which is why the Mac only recognizes the presence of a single display and why both displays are mirror images of each other.

Windows systems support DisplayPort MST, which is why the dock works as expected with your Lenovo laptop.

Thanks for the message. can you recommend a work around or an alternative solution?
Is there something i could possibly download or am i looking at buying new hardware to get everything running smoothly.

There is no workaround for the behavior while using the Lenovo docking station you currently have.

You will have to use a different product in order to drive two displays with your Mac.

While I cannot make any specific recommendations, DisplayLink has a list of products that use their technology here --> https://www.synaptics.com/products/d...ylink-products
