Hz max for D3100
I recently bought a Sceptre 24-Inch Curved 144Hz Gaming LED Monitor Edge-Less AMD FreeSync DisplayPort HDMI, Machine Black (C248B-144RN) it has 2 HDMI ports and a DP port....I plug my Dell DisplayLink D3100 up to the Sceptre monitor via DP port and my Dell S2409W 60 Hz monitor via 1 of the HDMI ports on the DisplayLink...my laptop is an Alienware Area-51m with Processor
9th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-9700 (8-Core, 12MB Cache, up to 4.7GHz w/ Turbo Boost) Operating System Windows 10 Home 64bit English Video Card NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2060 6GB GDDR6 (OC Ready) I went into the display settings on my laptop and changed the Hz output to Sceptre monitor to 120 Hz as that is max it will let me put it to yet when I play a game I am still capped at 60 Hz maximum....does the Dell DisplayLink D3100 not go any higher output for the DP than 60 Hz? and the DP cable I am using is the one that came with the new Sceptre monitor |
