Hallo together
My Hardware Laptop with Intel® HD Graphics 530 (Skylake GT2) USB3 Dock: Club 3D CSV-1460, Chipset: DL-6950, 2 Displayports Fresh Ubuntu 18.04 installation. Well-known, at Time Wayland does not work together with Displaylink. XOrg does (Gnome 3.28.2). For the Installation of the Displaylink driver i used this Script: https://github.com/AdnanHodzic/displaylink-debian >>> many Thanks If i connect a Monitor direct via Displayport Cable, the Monitor will only show a resolution of 640x480. The manual xrandr solution will only generate a big Buffer around the 640x480 resolution of the Monitor. The Solution is a simple Displayport to DVI Adapter. For lack of a DVI Port at the Displayport Monitor i used a different Monitor for this Test. Since i have only one Adapter, i can only test with one Monitor. Display Rotation is also working. Plug and Play is working as expected. A Reboot is working as expected. It seems to be a very specific Displayport Problem. Last edited by Jens_JI; 07-27-2018 at 04:46 PM. |
