Default Help Needed: Issues with Acasis 4K60 DisplayLink Hub (13-in-1) on MacBook Air M3

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing several issues with my Acasis 4K60 DisplayLink Hub (13-in-1) while using it with my MacBook Air M3. I’d appreciate any insights or solutions you might have!

1. Blurry Text on External Monitors

I’ve connected two external monitors via DisplayPort through the hub, but the text appears blurry. It’s quite noticeable with text-heavy tasks, and adjusting resolution or scaling in macOS hasn’t fixed the issue.

2. Screen Freeze During Zoom Meetings

Occasionally, during Zoom calls, my external monitors freeze entirely. Strangely, the video call itself doesn’t stop—other participants can still see my video feed, and audio continues uninterrupted. It’s just that my screens get stuck, and I can’t interact with anything.

Unplugging the USB-C cable from the hub resolves the issue after about 2 seconds, but it’s disruptive and far from ideal.

3. Ethernet Speed Issue

The dock’s Ethernet port is advertised as gigabit, and macOS confirms the connection speed as gigabit in System Settings. However, when I run a speed test, I only get about 130 Mbps out of the 500 Mbps my internet plan offers. This is far below what I’d expect.

Additional Info

• I’m using the latest DisplayLink drivers.
• Both monitors have a resolution of 1920X1200.
• The freezing issue seems to happen more often during video calls than with general tasks.

I’ve gathered log files from the DisplayLink driver and will attach them here for reference. If anyone has encountered similar problems or knows how to fix them, I’d be incredibly grateful for your help!
