Default Installing the latest DisplayLink software 7.3M

I have a Toshiba Portege R835 running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit connected to a Kensington sd3500v docking station.

The DisplayLink Network Adapter NCM drops the network connect at least once and week and most anytime I dock/undock or turn wireless on/off. To fix I disable the DisplayLink Network Adapter in Device Manager and then enable.

I see in this forum that its recommended to use the latest DisplayLink software to correct these problems. Is this true?

Can I just install version 7.3M over the existing DisplayLink software? Or do I actually have to remove all DisplayLink drivers & software before I start?

Thanks,
Steve

Hi,

Yes you can upgrade to 7.3M1.

If you still have issues, please run through this guide:

If the issue persists please attach the debug logs:
