Handle Leak - USB-C Dock
Hi,
I have an application that works fine on my laptop but when connected to the widescreen monitor via a USB-C Dock starts to leak handles. Normal handle count for this application is 400-500. If started while laptop is connected to the USB C Dock, >20k handles and rising every 30 seconds. Most of the handles are Manual Rest events which are used for thread synchronization. Its a in-house application built using QT framework. If i set the backend renderer for the application to DirectX9 or software renderer there is not handle leak. It seems to be a combination of DirectX 12/11 + USB - C Dock that causes the handle leak. Has anyone else experienced this? Below is the system spec/drivers i am using... Windows 10, Build 1836 Dell Latitude 7480, i5-7300U Direct X 12 Display Link: 10.0.82.0 Intel(R) HD Graphics 620: 26.20.100.8142 USB Root Hub (USB 3.0), USBHUB3.SYS, 9/1/2020 23:56:39 Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft): USBXHCI.SYS, 10.00.18362.0900 (English), 9/1/2020 23:56:39 |
