James,

Thanks for your reply.

Tried the last section which you mentioned.
1. disconnected the DL USB...got a igfxpers.exe-System error message immediately: The program cannot run because hccutils.DLL is missing...
2. uninstalled DL software - seemed to work
3. ran cleaner tool - seemed to work
4. rebooted
5. installed DL version 7.70 - does not display, however the monitor is detected...
6. also, after DL 7.70 reinstall, google chrome did not work (was not internet connection issue)...had to reboot again...not sure if there is any connection at all.
