Hello - I just bought and installed my UD-ULTCDL docking station to my M3 Pro. I have only attached 2 external monitors to the dock at this time (3rd screen being delivered today). Originally, I used the Dell as my center monitor for the camera placement, but I have moved it a space left on the mounting arms. When trying to use the camera, only the built-in facetime cam is being fired up, and I can no longer access the monitor camera. I even went into the monitor menu to see if I could manually enable it, but the webcam option in the menu is greyed out.
I know that the bottom HDMI port is for a 4k and wouldn't display within the DisplayLink Manager, which is where I had initially connected the Dell. I relocated it to the 3rd HDMI port to see if the Manager app would allow me to access the camera, but it did not. Is there something that can be recommended to me? With the install of my incoming screen, I do not plan on using the laptop for display (if possible).... Dell P2424HEB UD-ULTCDL docking station Macbook Pro M3 Sequoia v15.5 |

Hello harrismx,
Please try to use the USB cable instead of the HDMI one. Make sure the Dell webcam is listed and allowed for the apps you want to use. Restart your Mac and monitor after connecting the USB cable to ensure everything initializes correctly. Also, please check on firmware updates for both the Dell monitor and your docking station.
