Default Targus 3.0 MultiDisplay Dock + Win7 64

I'm having an issue that I believe is related to display link. It took me a while to get the correct drivers installed to where the system would recognize the targus dock. But now that it's recognized, the displays are still not recognized. I've followed all documentation and troubleshooting that I could find. The DisplayLink icon does not appear in the task bar when the displays are connected either.

ASMedia XHCI Controller
driver:1.14.8.0

Installed latest Display Link software 6.2.37544
DisplayLink Manager Service is running

I have two DisplayLink Display Adapters (4306) listed in the device manager with no errors flagged. Other devices on the dock, such as sound and network are detected, but haven't tested them since I bought the dock for the multi-displays only.

Default Returning the device

As a follow-up, I'm pretty sure the device was defective. It would crash my laptop if connected when it went into sleep mode. It would also lock the Displaylink Manager service when connected. Targus sent me the Display Link 6.3 B1 (beta) driver but had no different affect.

Computer wouldn't boot past the memory check if the dock was connected. I had no issues using an IOGear display link product.

I'm returning the Targus Dock and going to look for something else.
