I am using DisplayLink as a docking station for my Macbook pro so that I can have multiple monitors. I am having issues playing Udemy or Netflix video when I connect my Macbook to LinkDisplay. Video goes black but I do get audio. How can I fix this issue?
This defeats my purpose of buying DisplayLink as I want to see tutorials on one screen and then practice on second screen. Kindly help. |

With that said, some in this forum have reported that disabling 'hardware acceleration' or 'graphics' or 'GPU' acceleration within the Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser provides a workaround. |

Method 1: You can switch to Google Chrome or Firefox browser. This browser supports Widevine DRM better
Method 2: Install the latest version of DisplayLink Manager and grant it permission by: Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording and check if DisplayLink Manager is enabled. If not, enable it and restart. Raft Wars Last edited by FredericHowe; 02-12-2025 at 12:10 AM. |
