Default I am pushing My Displaylink to hard?

Hello,

I have bought an Club USB 3.0 Dual Display Docking station many months ago to get rid of my desktop and continue to use my laptop as it is a pain going between the two. I am aware there are updated and new drivers which I now have installed and are working a lot better since the last time I used it in January.

Their are many performance improvements which I do enjoy but I still feel like I am pushing it too far.

Items connect to the dock atm:
- ethernet
- HDMI for 42 inch 1080p TV
- DVI connect to my 24 inch monitor which is also 1080p
- USB 3.0 Hub
- Keyboard and mouse
- portable small usb sound chip(Plan on replacing this and using the two headphone and microphone ports on front)
- A webcam very old microsoft peice.

I am currently running windows 10 insider build 10586.494 and the new 8.0 version of DisplayLink driver.

Here is the model number of my laptop I am currently using is HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab088ca.

Here is the support website:
http://support.hp.com/ca-en/product/...429617/drivers

Any help or tips would be much appreciated. If you do recommend me buying a new dock I understand.

Thanks,

Hey!
Thank you for posting here... and there too.
I don't think you are asking for much.
Our technology in that dock would only control embedded audio, Ethernet and video. We are not in the USB hub or anything else.
Having two Full HD over USB 3.0 is really LOW expectations!
We can run multiple 4K monitors so that's 8 times the bandwidth.

Do you have anything special in term of issues? Special conditions, or applications?

Kind regards,
Alban

Hello,

Thanks for the response.

No Issues really. Just Mouse lag but I see you are releasing an update soon to fix this issue. I am just in college for Computer software support. I was tired of switching between my laptop and desktop so I decided to buy a docking station best move i have ever made really enjoy display link.

I see others are having issues with asndroid studio not being able to use open gl which i am kinda scared about due to the fact I will be developing android apps soon on my spare time.

Besides this I have had no issues.

Would be willing to beta test at any time.
