I see the same issue of slow frame rate with Apple Macbook Pro and Dell D6000 with rotated screen. Is there any plans for a fix for this issue?
Thanks! |

I've also just come across this problem with a Macbook and AOC I1659FWUX when the screen is rotated. I'm happy with the performance in landscape, but when in portrait mode one CPU hits 100% and all interactions with the display are very laggy.

Still no response for DisplayLink....absolutely pathetic.
I have posted internally at my company (Facebook) warning everyone not to purchase DisplayLink products. I ended up getting a proper native Thunderbolt dock, works like a charm and the company that produces it actually cares enough about its customers to respond to queries. |

Fix for D6000 Docks and macOS Catalina
I made an account just to add this feedback. I found this issue myself when using the D6000 dock after updating the drivers/firmware for macOS Catalina.
I was able to resolve the 90 degree rotation lag by doing the following:
Guess what. The DisplayLink Drivers are not needed for this dock in macOS Catalina for it to properly detect and display on external monitors. Good thing too cause they seem to be garbage and DisplayLink has 0 interest in resolving this simple bug. |

Are there any good Mac docks that do not need DisplayLink to run multiple monitors?
