Default Win 10 build 1903 and Gamma

I am having some issues with DisplayLink and Gamma on my laptop. I've spent a few months trying various things and updating drivers, etc, but no luck yet. So I'm posting here in hope for some kind of assistance.

In previous Windows 10 build 1607, gamma adjustment worked fine across all the monitors. Since updating to Win 10 build 1903 I have been unable to get gamma settings to work.

Here are the settings:
Laptop uses AMD FirePro M5100 FireGL display adapter, with two external monitors connected via DisplayLink D3100 dock.

Latest DisplayLink v9.2 M2 drivers installed - DisplayLink Manager version 9.2.2335.0

I have set registry key EnableGammaRamp to true.

f.lux and nightmode settings do work

However, actual "gamma" settings do not work, or are unable to be saved when using DisplayLink.

If I unplug DisplayLink, and only use the laptop monitor screen, "gamma" settings work as expected.

But as soon as I plug in DisplayLink dock, it all resets and gamma goes back to 1.0 value. As such, I believe the culprit here is the DisplayLink software.

Tested gamma using following methods:

1. via Display Settings

In the Display Settings -> display adapter properties -> Color Management -> Advanced -> Calibrate Display. If I move the gamma slider up and/down on the desired display it seems to change it. But as soon as I click on "close" it flickers and resets it back to defaults.

2. Using the GammaControlPanel utility from here https://gamma-panel.en.uptodown.com/windows
If I use DisplayLink dock, this slider does nothing. If I unplug the USB and use only my laptop screen, gamma slider adjustments behave as expected

3. In-game
Inside games, there are gamma slider options. If I use DisplayLink, the gamme slider does nothing. If I use my laptop screen only, I am able to set and apply in-game gamma settings.

I have read the following information which seems to suggest some functionality was changed in Windows build 1903.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...903#226msgdesc
https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/c..._icc_profiles/
https://hub.displaycal.net/forums/to...-1903-windows/

It seems that because night-mode and f.lux is working, that this is only partially resolved for DisplayLink software. Actual "gamma" settings still seem to be broken.

Natively with just Windows 10 and my laptop screen, gamma works fine.

Just wondering if DisplayLink is aware of the issue, and if there is any ETA on the fix.

Thanks much
