macOS App: Clamshell / Lid Closed Mode
I have just installed big sur 11.1 (DisplayLink Manager Graphics Connectivity - Release: 1.2) on my Macbook Pro and can absolutely confirm that I am experiencing the problem. Open the laptop lid and external monitors. Everything works as intended. Close the laptop lid, the monitors go black ... come on and when I press the mouse or keyboard the signal comes back for about 15 seconds. The whole thing repeats and is not pleasant because it loses connection with the docking station. I use a docking station from Targus Dock190.

I also wanted to follow up on this same issue. I'm currently having issues with my Intel Based MBP and the Targus 190 docking station. The workaround of using the old driver was functional until today...please let us know when the development to resolve this issue will be done. it's made it very difficult to work!

When it is expected that clamshell mode is supported with DisplayLink drivers with MacOS Big Sur? It has been already development for ages.

Closed lid with DisplayLink manager 1.3.1 and MacOSX 11.4
I do have exatly the same issue and behaviour :-( ....is there any plan to fix it? For me this driver is not usable anymore, if I allways need to open the notebook lid, to have a working external monitor!
