Thumbs up Win 8.1, Display Link 7.4M0

Instead of flashing, my screens just remain black. I have an HP Envy dv7 laptop and am using the Targus USB3.0 Dock DV with Power (and have also tested with the Plugable USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter. I collected data when using the Targus and have attached the .zip file. (The monitors are a pair of HP 2511x and they worked fine with the Windows 8.0 and previous DisplayLink drivers. They also work just fine when plugged directly into the HDMI connector on the laptop.)

Hi,

This is fixed in the next release due out top coincide with the release of Windows 8.1.

In the meantime to get you going can you try disabling the Nvidia GPU in the BIOS?

Thanks,
James

Default Unable to disable video in BIOS

There do not appear to be any settings in the BIOS on the HP Envy dv7 that allows one to disable the NVidia graphics.
