DisplayLink Manager 1.1/Big Sur 11.0.1 - no signal
I am running Big Sur 11.0.1 and just installed DisplayLink Manager 1.1. Screen recording shows as enabled, but DisplayLink does not show up in my System Report Extensions list. I am using a Diamond Multimedia DisplayLink USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter, model BVU5500H. I am getting no signal at all on the monitor, which also does not show up under System Preferences, Monitors. Yes, the monitor has power. Help, please, I can't figure out what is wrong.

And USB device is active
In case someone from displaylink reads this thread, you should also know that I followed your instructions and the USB adapter shows active in the system report, and does not have one of the two codes your instructions say show that it has a problem.

I figured it out
You have to actually go into Applications and double-click DisplayLink Manager to get it to launch, then click the icon in the top menu bar and check the box to have it launch automatically on startup. Works fine now. See https://support.displaylink.com/know...ntroduction-in
