Angry "Notebook Monitor Off" - How to turn it back ON???

I accidentally selected the "Notebook Monitor Off". So my main monitor is off when the DisplyLink (DL) is inserted. How do I turn my monitor back on? With the DL is plugged in, the monitor is off...so I can't select the menu.

When I unplug the DL, I can then see my main display again, but the taskbar option/app does not appear so that I can turn it back on.

Thanks,
Zack

Hi Zach,
You right click on desktop to change display settings/resolutions and you reactivate it from that Windows window.
Kind regards,
Alban

Default Option not there? Not clear...

Hi, I can right-click on my desktop, choose resolution, but I don't see any options for turning the main monitor back on. What do I actually click on to turn back on the monitor? Would you kindly provide the detailed steps?

Hi,
That's because it depends on the version of Windows you use.
Either click on the disabled monitor and change in the drop down to remove "disconnect that display".
Or find the monitor in the drop down and change its parameters.
Here is a tutorial for Windows 10: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...dows-10-a.html
Should you use another version, you would find similar tutorials on how to use this Windows feature.
Kind regards,
Alban

Default Not Win10, but Win7 Pro

I checked out the link, but I'm using Windows 7 and do not see those options. Do you have instructions for Windows 7?
