Question Ethernet port does not wrok

Lenovo 2 in 1 . Ethernet connection is not working. Display in devices and troubleshooter claims cable is unplugged. Ethernet lights do blink and all other PC's work OK in the network. Tried a second Dynadock, same result. but Win reports cable unplugged , I use wireless from same modem. . Running trouble shooter does not produce any results. Powering down and back up the display link, rebooting laptop, unplugging and re-plugging all connections, does not resolve the issue. The latest WIN and Dynalock Ver 9.0 drivers are installed.
