Default Ethernet hickups with installed DisplayLink driver

whenever I install the DisplayLink driver on my Ubuntu Notebook (currently 22.04 using Wayland), I noticed hickups when trying to transfer big files (over 5 GB) over my ethernet adapter. After starting the transfer, the upload usually stops at around 4 GB. After that, the ethernet device stops working at all (till I either turn off my dock or reconnect the USB-C cable).

I am using an dock from i-tech (PN: CATRIPLE4KDOCKPD) https://i-tec.pro/wp-content/uploads...KDOCKPD_QS.pdf

when removing the DisplayLink driver, no hickups on upload occur, regardless of the file size so I guess the hardware is okay.

I encountered similar problems on Ubuntu 20.04 with Xorg (with additional temporary screen freezes).
