Default 2 external screens m1 macbook?

I'm trying to find a workaround for my macbook M1 2020 (macOS venturn) to run 2 external screens; I know it is natively supposed to only run 1 external screen. It was suggested on macworld https://www.macworld.com/article/675...n-m1-macs.html that Displaylink download would allow this through an adapter, but it doesn't register a second monitor when I go through settings, displays on y machine. Only 1 external monitor comes up.
I have 2 Samsung screens that mirror each other. They are connected to a bon.elk external desktop hub with 2 HDMI's running to the screen.
I'm trying to split them so that I could use one screen to read from, and one screen to write on, without having to toggle between tabs on my browser. Any suggestions?
