Stuttering Ethernet on Start up
Hardware is an HP DV6T laptop running Windows 7 64 bit attached to a Targus ACP71USZ dock. DisplayLink version is 7.4 M2 which, for the most part, has been fairly reliable. I usually leave my laptop plugged into the dock. My issue is when I startup my laptop. The ethernet connection seems to go on and off for a minute or two before it finally stabilizes. Today, my machine hung and I had to reboot both the laptop and the dock. What I'm finding is that in most cases, if I shut off power to the dock and start it the same time that I turn on the laptop, things go better. Ethernet still has issues connecting, but at least my laptop don't hang. Recommendations??

I may have solved my issues with ethernet. I was using a cat5e cable, but it was getting up in age. I replaced it with a new one and, at least so far, no stuttering whatever. Keeping my fingers crossed.
