Default Network Adapter error NCM device not starting

Hi,

I've installed the DisplayLink USB graphics software for my new Dell XPS 13 (with Targus USB 3.0 Superspeed docking station), and I keep getting the following error for the network adapter - DisplayLink Network Adapter NCM #3:

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful."

It's a new install of Windows 8.1 (i.e. not an upgrade from Windows 8) and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling (together with the cleaner program) several times but without success.

I have also had this same dock working with an older XPS 13 with Windows 8 and 8.1, with no issues.

Would appreciate your help. Support log attached.

Thanks,

Ali

Default

Full system reset and reinstallation of the DL software seems to have done the trick. Not the best solution, but there you go...
