Default D3100 Doc on Mac OS Only Getting 100mbps through ethernet

I've got a D3100 dock connected to my Macbook Air M2, everything works well except the ethernet. I only get 100mbps down when doing speed tests but if I take that same ethernet cable and plug it into my Windows desktop I get 1gigabit. Everything seems up to date and MacOS recognizes it as 1gigabit in the Network System Settings menu.

EDIT: I will say I just happened to give it another try with the internet speed test but included upload and the upload topped out at 700mbs??? But the Ethernet still topped out at 150mbps. Took the same ethernet cable out of the D3100 and plugged it into my desktop and still showed ~950mbps for both Up/Down in the test. Not sure what's going on tbh.

I'm getting this exact same issue, but with an M1 Macbook Pro 13" 2020. I'm going to do some digging but good thing I didn't already giveaway my cheapo $20 hub from a few years ago that gives me max speeds already.
