Default Windows 7 and Screen Resolution Issues

I have been through both the regular and the beta drivers.. I cannot get any better resolution on my monitor that 1280x1024.. I have the displaylink as part of the HP USB Docking station. If I plug directly into my video out on my laptop I get the full resolution capabilities. Any clues what i have done wrong? I was hoping to use the USB dock as a place at my desk where I could keep my mouse and a second monitor plugged in and just come in and plug in one cable and get to work.. I will just bypass it all if I am going to be plugging it into my computer and plugging the monitor in as well..

We will need more information to be able to tell as to what is wrong.

Please download the Windows DisplayLink debug tool from the website
below, then gather the system information and upload the zip file.
