Display adapter detected; Monitor not detected
Is DisplayLink software installed correctly? Yes
Is the DisplayLink service running? Yes Does the USB device appear in device manager? Yes Has the USB device booted correctly? Yes Do you have the latest graphics driver installed? Yes Do you have the latest USB 3.0 host controller driver installed? Yes After checking the above have you attached the log files? Yes I am running Win 7 64 bit, dual core processor, 4 GB RAM, using a 'Plugable UGA USB 3.0 adapter.' It is plugged into a fully functioning USB 3.0 PCI Express card. The USB display adapter has a solid green light, and is detected by the computer. The hardware ID does not indicate a malfunctioning (or broken or whatever it is -malfunctioning display adapter). The system has been rebooted, the drivers are all up to date. The 3rd monitor, which I am attempting to connect works on other computers. The monitor is a ViewSonic VA2703. I attempted using the DVI/VGA adapter also, a myriad of different DVI and VGA cables, and another type of monitor. All to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
