Default big sur on 1.6.0

Since last week, which was before I upgraded this morning to the beta 1.6.0 driver, I haven't been able to use my external monitor on my M1. The monitor is detected as HDMI and I got it going for a little while when the monitor was plugged directly into the second USB-C port but that was only once. It's never worked since then in my external USB hub (powered), which was working fine until recently.

Next steps for troubleshooting?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

What is the monitor that you have exactly?
Also you mentioned that it is detected as HDMI but it is connected to USB-C - is it a USB-C monitor connected directly into the computer?

Best regards,
Katarzyna

It is the following xebec tri-screen: https://www.thexebec.com

It is an HDMI monitor that plugs into an xebec displaylink adapter that provides both power via a USB-C port on the monitor and audio+video via a mini HDMI port. The other end of the displaylink adapter has a single USB-A port which plugs into either an external USB hub and then laptop or gets converted again back to USB-C before plugging directly into the laptop.
