T440 and USB 3.0 Dock - Display not recognized
Thinkpad T440 laptop and USB 3.0 Dock - Thinkpad display adapter not appearing in Device Manager, though keyboard and mouse are working with no issues. This USB 3.0 device & monitor work when connected to a different computer.
How often does the issue occur? Always, cannot get device to display external monitor. How do you invoke the issue? n/a How do you recover from the issue? n/a Was the issue present in older versions of DisplayLink software? Unsure. Upgraded early on. Originally external monitor was working but keyboard and mouse were not, following upgrade to 7.4 version of DisplayLink software, at some point the USB dock was shut off and then I could no longer get the monitor to come up again with the laptop. How are you connected to the DisplayLink device? Directly or through a USB hub? Direct (both USB ports on the laptop (right and left side) have been tried) Thank you in advance! |
