Default VB Script engine

I am trying to install displaylink core software. It keeps telling me the same thing - VBScript engine is not enabled. I have done the regserv to enable and it says it succeeded. I have a dell inspirion 1720 running vista home premium 32 bit. Am at my wits end.

Default Same problem....help

Hi

I have the same problem. Running Vista Biz 32bit. I have tried this microsoft fix ( http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9648765 ) which was recommended elsewhere but still getting the error VBScript engine is not enabled.

Any help would really be appreciated since i dont know what to try anymore.

Thanks

Default VB Script engine

I have also tried the microsoft fixit. It found other things but did nothing for this problem. I also tried the Windows Guru at www.nilpo.com for file associations and scripts. You may want to see if that helps your problem. It didn't help me. Still can't install.
