Default two cents

Not sure if this is helpful but I will share my experience and what I did to work around it.

I encountered this problem on my laptop and dual monitor setup when I was displaying on the external monitors only. However, I was able to get it to work when I had my dual external monitors AND my laptop's display panel going at the same time. Ended up dragging the application to my external monitor extended display and it was fine.

Very strange indeed.

Hello,

This would probably be because, when you have your laptop display panel enabled, it is used as the primary display (the one with the system tray icon next to the clock).
If, on the same layout, you change the primary display to be one external displays, then you would most likely see the problem again.
As Intel only fixed recent platform drivers, your workaround is unfortunately the only way many, like myself, have.

Kind regards,
Alban
