Windows 10 Ethernet Gets Auto-IP not from DHCP
Hi,
I am also experiencing the issue mentioned. My laptop has processed Windows 10 creators update / windows updates and now the ethernet through my Dell Superspeed 3.0 docking station isn't working. I have installed the 8.4 M2 development build and this made no difference, the ethernet connection is still showing as "Unidentified network - No Internet". I have run the support tool so I will send this through shortly. Thanks Jordan Last edited by JordanMaxim; 02-01-2018 at 12:41 AM. |

Hello,
I've split the thread as the issue is not the same as reported in the other thread. The original thread is about link negotiation. This thread is about Windows itself really. I understand a technical support ticket was created by Jordan with the logs. The link is established but no IP is assigned to the adapter. As this is handled through a ticket, I won't repeat here. Kind regards, Alban

I have this exact same issue. Sometimes restarting and waiting a few minutes to login helps. Sometimes it does not.
Is there any fix to this issue? |
