Black video on Catalina using Apple products?

I've noticed with the new driver (and Catalina) that any video initiated from Safari (say Netflix or Disney Plus) or from the Apple TV app (say an Apple TV + show) display black when hooked up to a D6000 dock with the latest driver. Video works fine if initiated from Chrome however (the same items tried in Safari). Audio works however in both. Video works fine when not hooked up to the dock.

This didn't seem to be an issue with Mojave/the set of drivers for it.
