Unresponsive screen on Macbook Air + ASUS MB168B+ on Yosemite

Dear all,

I've experienced this a couple of times and wonder if anyone else has (I can't find a similar post).

After using my Macbook Air (13 inch, early 2014, Yosemite 10.10.3) and DisplayLink display (ASUS MB168B+, driver v2.4b1) for a variable amount of time, both screens will freeze. The mouse cursor is movable between screens, but nothing is clickable. I think sound continues to play, but video stops.

Sometimes, after waiting a few minutes, both screens will blank for 10 secs, then normal service will resume. Sometimes even after a 20 minute wait, there's no recovery. Unplugging/replugging the DisplayLink display doesn't seem to make a difference.

Today it happened at 18:07 (time frozen on clock) and recovered at 18:11. I include the console dump from 18:06-18:07 below, and would be very grateful for the community's insight on whether I'm doing something wrong, or a comment from the DisplayLink if this is a known bug / has a workaround / will be fixed later.

I have that too. Yosemite 10.10.3 and 2.4b1. When that happens, I unplug the USB-cable and wait until all windows are moved to my MBA's internal screen. When I replug the USB-cable I can use both DisplayLink screens again.
