Geforce compatibility
So here's the situation:
I have a desktop with a Geforce GTX 580 graphics card, running displaylink. My Anker usb 3.0 hub connected to this displaylink hosts the only display monitor. I can't seem to get a configuration working where the displaylink displays the desktop as rendered by the Geforce card with its opengl etc. It only seems to render through the motherboard's integrated graphics driver which of course is more limited than the Geforce. EDIT: I realised that it's probably selecting the integrated intel graphics card as the primary card, and ignoring the nvidia geforce! How can I get displaylink to connect to the discrete geforce card? Do I have to have another monitor connected to the geforce card directly? Grateful for your help. Solved
Just tried disabling the onboard graphics via BIOS on the desktop and it works!
