Default It stopped working after a few minutes

I have installed the last version of the software (1.0.138). Things were working fine at the beginning but after a few minutes the screen turned into gibberish. I attach a picture of what I mean.
Unplugging and plugging it again did not help, nor did restarting the service or rebooting the computer.
My configuration is the following:

- Dell XPS13 (first generation)
- Ubuntu 15.04 (kernel 3.19.0.30)
- Targus ACP71
- Monitor Dell U2312

Any ideas of what may have gone wrong? I did not change the configuration in any way, as far as I know...

Hello,

Thanks for your contact. I must admit the problem does not look common. Firstly, we have to narrow down the area of the potential investigation. It would be helpful if you could try/answer the following things:

1. What is the monitor connection? DVI/HDMI/VGA/DP?
2. Is it feasible for you to try connecting the monitor directly to the PC using the same cable connection or different?
3. Is it feasible for you to try connecting the DisplayLink device with this monitor to a different PC (can be running any OS)
4. If you take a picture of the desktop using Screenshot tool from the dash does the taken picture show the corrupted screen as well?

Regards,
Szymon
