Default incomplete redraws within gvim

Hi,

thanks for the DisplayLink drivers. I was really waiting for running drivers for my X1 + ThinkPad USB 3.0 Dock + Ubuntu 14.10. + i3wm

They seem to work better than expected but I still have an issue with gvim:

When I'm running gvim on a DisplayLink-ed display some of the redraws while scrolling and editing are missing. Instead part of contents stays black. Just when I change the full screen mode the redraw is successful.

I found a temporary solution:

When I start gvim with the option --sync it avoids asynchronous GTK calls which does the job. But scrolling is flickering now quite a bit.

I hope this gives you a hint what might cause the problem.
