Default Gigabyte Aero 15, Linux Mint 20.1, low performance

I have a Lenovo 40AF dock with two 1080p monitors.
I'm using it with a Gigabyte Aero 15 Classic-WA, running Linux Mint 20.1 with the 5.11.0-22-generic kernel.
The laptop has two GPU's, an Intel UHD Graphics 630 and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060.

As noted in the various other threads, the performance is seriously affected when using the dock.
The DisplayLinkManager process is constantly very high.

If I stop moving the mouse for a few seconds and don't have anything moving on the screen e.g. youtube, the CPU usage drops to ~2%. See top output in the top_idle.txt file.
If I start moving the mouse around, the CPU usage increases to ~40%. See top output in the top_mouse_moving.txt file.
If I start a youtube video, am moving the mouse and moving between applications, the CPU usage increases to over ~100%. See top output in the top_youtube.txt file.

It feels like everything is being done in software.
If I don't have the dock connected, the CPU load on the laptop is normally low.

I attached the lshw output. A complete set of lshw, lsof, lspci, lsusb, dmesg is available at:

I can provide any required logs or try any operations, please just ask.

If someone from the displaylink support team could comment on the low performance, I think it would be good as various people have the
same issue.
