Arrow 8.1 Alpha for Windows

This is the R8.1 Alpha, the first Alpha release of R8.1. It has undergone
limited system test and is suitable for alpha testing to evaluate the software.

DisplayLink Software Release 8.1 delivers the following features:

- Mouse cursor smoothness improvements on Windows 10 Anniversary Update
- Support or DL-41xx DDC/CI support to control brightness and contrast
- Bug fixes
- SHA-256 driver signature hashing

Supported Operating Systems
This release can be installed on the following operating systems:

- Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit editions)
- Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit editions)
- Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit editions)
- Windows 8.1 Update 2014 (32-bit and 64-bit editions)
- Windows 10 TH1, TH2, RS1 (32-bit and 64-bit editions)

An Alpha or Beta driver is NOT suitable for general deployment.

Known Issues and Limitations

At the first connection after installing R8.1 Alpha, the computer will take more than 30 seconds to display pixels. This issue will be addressed in the release. (24072)

Screen may freeze or crash randomly. (23745)

Also make sure you include the zip file created by our Customer Support Tool so we have the information about your installation.
This Alpha version has had minimal testing and you install it at your own risks. It is not officially supported through tickets.
