Default Portrait vs Landscape Format

I am using a 5 inch LCD with Displaylink software and recently it has not been possible to change the format from landscape to portrait (or landscape flipped or portrait flipped)

The display is being used in a simulator and needs to be set to portrait.

I am using Win10 Build 1903 and have downloaded and installed the latest driver.

Please advise if a solution is available

Regards

Ron B

Hello Ron,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

Please tell me what is your DisplayLink device exactly?
How do you have everything connected?

Thank you,
Katarzyna

It is a USB to DVI\VGA\etc adapter, similar to this: -

Until recently the device has worked flawlessly using Displaylink and rotation of the screen by using "Display Settings" in either Win 7 or Win 10 has not been a problem.
As previously stated I am now using Win10 build 1903 exclusively in the simulator and it will not allow me to rotate the screen.

By simulator do you mean a Virtual Machine running Windows 10 build 1903?

No, I mean a B737-800 flight simulator which uses 4 PC's and 12 monitors of various sizes and resolution.

3 of the monitors are 5 inch LCD's run by the USB to VGA adapter I referenced earlier as there are only so many GPU's that you can fit in a PC! This is standard practice.

This situation also exists on a PC that is running Win10 build 1909

I take it that you don't have a solution for this problem?
