Question Lilliput UM-70/C/T, DisplayLink v7.5 M0, Windows 8.1 and blank desktop

Hi,

Had a read through the existing threads and couldn't find anything specific to this issue (apologies if I've missed it).

I have a dual-monitor Windows 8.1 Pro system (using an old nVidia GeForce 9500GT card - driver version 9.18.13.3165 [331.65]).

I've added a Lilliput UM-70/C/T to the system, installing DisplayLink drivers v7.5 M0.

Initially, everything was OK. The screen behaved as expected. However, after a PC restart, things aren't working as they should.

The USB desktop is now blank (and black). I can see the mouse pointer moving around on it, and clicking brings up the Windows 8 app menu, but the desktop remains a black blank space.

Additionally, using the DisplayLink Support Tool (http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269) reports:

Pass: Basic mode support
Pass: Device attached
Pass: Device started correctly
Pass: Graphics driver date
Pass: WEI is above recommended 3
Pass: No Other USB graphics software installed

I'm hoping I'm missing something obvious.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Neil
