Dell 2314H Monitor USB

I have the newest 7.4 Plugable drivers with a Surface Pro windows enterprise 8.1

If I plug in the Monitors USB ports to the dock then try to attach something to the ports it won't install the device right then lock up after a restart pretty much any device that previously worked (including my Bluetooth Mouse) stop working.

Specifically I have been trying to plug in the Wireless Transceiver for my Keyboard.

It's the old style MS Sculpt Comfort - with MS 2.4GHz Wireless Transceiver v7.0

If I plug the Monitor USB directly into the Surface USB port it works fine though. Any ideas?

Alright after some further testing I am thinking this is a Hardware issue with the Dock I replaced the dock with another one we just got for a different user and everything seems to be working fine.

I will try to check the old dock with another system to verify this.
