Getting the proper resolution for a monitor without EDID
Hello, recently I purchased a small display with the resolution of 800x480. Now, my computer has a Ryzen 2500U, and I only have one port to use with another display, so I’m using a displaylink adapter to add this third one. This isn’t its primary purpose, but I thought it would be a decent monitor to add. However, when I try to use it with the adapter, I cannot get it to use its native resolution, as it doesn’t have any kind of EDID. It thinks the native resolution is 1080p. The closest I can get to it is 720x480 but it still doesn’t look right. So... I’m wondering if there’s any solution to getting its proper resolution? I tried CRU, however it didn’t seem to have any effect.
