Default Mouse lag only on display link monitors

I am running 3 monitors, 1 HDMI out of my laptop and 2 via displaylink from my Toshiba Dynadock. The HDMI monitor is fine but when my mouse cursor is on the display link monitors and I hover links on the web for example and my mouse cursor changes from a pointer to a hand I get a brief mouse freeze which is subtle but enough with the work I do to be unusable, I have tried everything I could find online for troubleshooting.

Windows 8.1
Sony VAIO ultrabook
Toshiba Dynadock U3
displaylink monitors HP Compaq LA2205wg 1680 x 1050

This delay can also be seen as animation lag when maximizing and minimizing a window on the screen, the animation is a bit stuttery. Is this just as good as display link gets? Please advise.

Hi,

If you set your Power Option in Control Panel | System and Security | Power Options to High performance do you still see this issue?

Thanks,
James

Thank-you for the attention to this matter

I have similar issues with a Dell Docking Station, and Dell laptop. Mouse/Keyboard lags when using docking station with two monitors attached to docking station. No issues whatsoever when using the laptop with the same keyboard/mouse. I have updated usb 3.0 drivers, and have version 7.5 installed, no improvement in performance.
