Screen Not Detected on Ubuntu but it does on Windows

Hello everybody,

This week I bought a Wavlink Dock Station hoping to use it with 2 laptops:

1) A new HP Probook on Windows 11
2) An old HP Pavillion on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

The one on Windows works fine, I didn't even have to install DisplayLink,; the problem comes with the one on Ubuntu: after installing the DisplayLinks driver it detects everything (mouse, keyboards, LAN connector but not the external screen which I'd like to use for working.

I've been checking the forum and the troublesolving's tips but found nothing about this problem...

Does anybody have a clue about what might be happening?
