I have a Dell XPS15 with the docking port which drives two monitors, after upgrading the windows insider 14372 and installing beta4 of the drivers i have noticed that sometime (and seemingly randomly) both monitor being driver through the DisplayLink Freeze and become unresponsive.
I have attached the Support Logs. Regards |

Same here, but for some reason the freezing issue starts after an hour or so of use, and the same again if I power cycle the XPS13 and Docking Station!
I should also say that the XPS13 still responds once the Dock has frozen although its fairly slow and jerky mouse operation due to the CPU cycles being used presumably trying to recover the driver back into operation. Another beta please ![]() |

Just a quick update on my previous post:
Having experienced graphical glitches / artifacts this morning in addition to the freezing / high CPU usage, I decided to completely remove the Displaylink software & drivers, and completely power down both laptop & dock for a few minutes. Having already manually removed the Displaylink folders & registry entries, I reinstalled the latest Beta 4, and I've been totally glitch-free for nearly 2 hours and counting - which is a new record! I have the new Razer Blade 2016 model and I am having the same problem. I even reinstalled windows, reloaded the insider preview and as soon as I installed 14372 and the displaylink software my graphics keeps crashing.
This needs fixed, reloading is not fixing it. |

I just upgraded to 14379 and still getting crashes. I cannot use my displaylink dock because of this. Are there any plans to fix this?
I am windering if it isn't a problem with Optimus technology as my computer has an intel card and an Nvidia and uses optimus. Last edited by Benplace; 07-06-2016 at 04:21 PM. |

I just upgraded to Windows 14385 and Display Link software v 8.0 m0,
Still having problems, screen freezes while moving mouse for like 10-15 seconds then comes back to life. I used it for like 40 minutes without issue after the upgrades before it started doing it again. |
