Problems with Linux Mint 19.x
Hello,
I have 2 problems with DisplayLink 6000 and Linux Mint 19.x (I tried out 19.2 and 19.3). The first Problem is that the DisplayLink driver randomly crashes cinnamon. Unplugging and plugging the DisplayLink or reboot solve the problem. All our developers have the same issue and it is annoying. What kind of logs do you need to help solving this issue? - We all have different laptops, BYOD The second problem is with my mouse. I have a square behind the mouse which contains the content where it stands for a while. When I unplug the DisplyLink it is working fine. Here are some information about my system: inxi -Fz Graphics: Device-1: Intel driver: i915 v: kernel Device-2: NVIDIA driver: nvidia v: 435.21 Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.19.6 driver: modesetting, nvidia resolution: 1920x1200~60Hz, 1920x1200~60Hz, 1920x1200~60Hz OpenGL: renderer: GeForce RTX 2080/PCIe/SSE2 v: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 435.21 xrandr --listproviders Providers: number : 3 Provider 0: id: 0x1b8 cap: 0x1, Source Output crtcs: 4 outputs: 4 associated providers: 2 name:NVIDIA-0 Provider 1: id: 0x24c cap: 0x2, Sink Output crtcs: 1 outputs: 1 associated providers: 1 name:modesetting Provider 2: id: 0x223 cap: 0x2, Sink Output crtcs: 1 outputs: 1 associated providers: 1 name:modesetting What other informations do you need?
