Targus issues
I've got the Targus DOCK190USZ connected to the M1. When running the software with 11.1, I get continuous logouts / no external screens while the dock is plugged in. Oddly enough, it also stops charging when the display link software is running. Steps tried: uninstall/reinstall, reboot. Hope a new version of the software drops soon, or may have to look into returning my new dock and exploring other options.

Working but Heavily Lagged on One Monitor - Continued
Upgraded the DisplayPort cable to an 8k (4k/144Hz) cable and still had the problem with the single monitor of the three.
Bypassed the docking station for the mouse, keyboard, and headphones input by using a USB-C to USB dongle connected to the MacBook. Still had the problem with the one monitor. Finally I bypassed the problem monitor's connection from the docking station by routing its connection through a separate Thunderbolt 3 to Display Port cable/dongle/adapter connected directly to the MacBook. No more problem. Not an ideal solution having a three monitor docking station that I paid for having to act instead as a two monitor docking station with a separate adapter for the third but it works and the one off adapter was less than $20. Same here
No longer working. Error "Your device does not support DP Alt Mode, please install the latest driver and try again."
I've tried
Only thing that changed is BigSur updating from 11.0 to 11.1. |

The version on the Asus support site is 1.1.0.
That's an older version. The current driver from displaylink is 1.2.0 https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/macos I have installed the latest driver (allowed all permissions), but have a problem where the display works intermittently. I have to restart, and sometimes it works. All you can do now is send log files report to the developers and hope they can gets resolved in the next update. https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink |

Looks like 11.2 fixed my issue. Fingers crossed it works for you all!
