No Follow Up from Display Link Support
DisplayLink,
How come there hasn't been any response to this issue since 10/29? Christian from DisplayLink did advise that he would report back whenever he needed additional info, yet I haven't seen any correspondence either way. DisplayLink, can you replicate the issue, and if so any fix or workaround please? |

Sorry for the lack of updates on this. We have been able to replicate the issue, but in a slightly different way (and in a non-deterministic way). We're still investigating and unfortunately we have not any fix or workaround yet, but we will try to address this issue as soon as possible. Thanks

Are there logs or something that we can send in? It's becoming more frustrating to work around this issue, and at minimum, causes me to reboot the laptop several times per day.
Notice that when this is occurring, the MacBook Air is leaving the screen turned on -- e.g. the Apple logo on the leg remains illuminated by the backlight and (presumably, if you could see inside) the screen would be lit up. |
